The world’s number one infectious killer

Tuberculosis is the world’s most infectious killer. Around the world, one in three people have it right now, latent and inactive in their lung tissue.
People who are infected with the TB bacteria have a 10 per cent chance of falling ill in their lifetime, but those with compromised immune systems have a much higher chance of falling ill.
