Women’s Rugby League is No Laughing Matter

Over 180 000 Australian girls and women currently play Women’s Rugby League and the NRL has announced that female participation is growing fast. We’ve come a long way, but there’s plenty of work to be done, as we saw when just two weeks ago, The Footy Show’s Wally Lewis cracked a controversial joke at the expense of Australian Jillaroo, Allana Ferguson. Nic spoke with Mary Konstantopolous, founder of Ladies Who League, about how we can all play a role in the promotion and celebration of Women’s Rugby League.
