Wine Chat: Tour of Italy – Puglia & Primitivo

Today we’re heading south to the heel of Italy, Puglia. We’re taking a look at their viticultural history, the premier grape of the region Primitivo, and it’s unlikely history on the other side of the Atlantic. We are joined as always by BSC: Wine Science student Cal Lee

Wine of the Week

2023, Bink Wines ‘Mirrors’ Primitivo, Barossa Valley, S.A.

A rustic take on this southern Italian classic. Bright acidity, crunchy fruits and a nicely spiced finish. Can be thrown at any protein you like, or anything with rich sauces.
