Wave Goodbye to Cut Off Your Hands

2SER Static host Berko farewells Auckland’s jangle-pop crackerjacks Cut Off Your Hands as they play their final-ever gigs and launch their last album, the hip-shaking “HLLH”.

Frontman Nick tells us how creating their swansong record found him in a more thoughtful mood when writing lyrics, why it’s taken them a long time to split up, and how cancelling the band will put his mental health in a much better state.

You can hear Static each week on 2SER, Thursdays at 8pm and/or Saturdays at 8am.
