Third Places to Curb Urban Loneliness
 
								Urban loneliness – it affects most of us city dwellers and is the consequence of population mobility, a lack of community participation and an increase in single-occupant households. ‘Third places’ encourage social networking by providing public or commercial spaces with communal leisure activity.
