The Unfinished Business Exhibit arrives at Sydney’s Australian Museum!

Powerful, moving, and transformative- the stories of First Nations people with disability are brought to the forefront in a groundbreaking new exhibition at the Australian Museum. Unfinished Business presents a series of dynamic 3D lenticular portraits that shift and change as viewers move past them, offering a profound insight into the intersectionality of living with disability in Indigenous communities across Australia.

On display from 1 November 2025 to 19 April 2026, the exhibition sets a new standard for accessibility in museums, featuring tactile panels and specialised audio-tours to ensure these stories can be engaged with by all visitors. We sat down with Trevor Ahearn, an exhibit producer from the Australian Museum to discuss the story behind the exhibit, from its subjects to the technology making the exhibit possible.

Entry is free and the Australian Museum is a short walk from Gadigal Station. Find more info here! See you there!
