The Poets speak: Hasib Hourani, Eunice Andrada, Kate Fagan, Šime Knežević and Suneeta Peres da Costa

On the 25th September at PHIVE in Parramatta, acclaimed poets Eunice Andrada (Kontra), Kate Fagan (Song in the Grass), Hasib Hourani (rock flight), Šime Knežević (In Your Dreams) and Suneeta Peres da Costa (The Prodigal) will read and discuss their work, highlighting the power and potential of poetry in our world. Coming from vastly different backgrounds, these collections reflect each poet’s unique voice.
All of these writers are published by Giramondo Publishing. Monday Daily’s Lorna chatted to co-director of Giramondo, Ivor Indyk about the event, the enduring relevance of poetry and the importance of making readers uncomfortable.
