The 100th Anniversary of ‘The Great Gatsby’

When people hear the word ‘Gatsby’, many think of the decadence and opulence of the roaring twenties. The novel this reference originates from, turned 100 this year.
Alexander Howard, Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of English and Writing at the University of Sydney, joined us this morning to explain how The Great Gatsby has remained in the social consciousness for a century.
