Sarah Levins’ new EP: Eye Spy

Following on from her first EP “North birds,” Sydney musician Sarah Levins sat down with Monday Daily’s Eva Greifeneder to discuss her new EP “Eye Spy.”
Sarah Levins brings a transcendent alt-folk sound to her music, carried by a voice that’s truly mesmerising. Eye Spy was co-produced by Jerome Blazé and celebrates Sarah’s warm, soft vocals while lyrically examining the beauty of ordinary things in life.
This record touches on the idea of finding connections between the big and the small, reminding us there’s often more than meets the eye.
The album cover features a beautiful handmade blue dress made especially for the EP, positioning Levins as the pupil amongst a blue iris of fabric. Her passion for storytelling, musical experimentation and collaboration extends from the record to the stage, having recently run a gig series in Sydney called “In The Ring”.
Sarah Levins’ latest EP, out now on all streaming platforms! A perfect listen for a rainy day, cozying up with a cup of tea by the window. But if you’d rather experience it live, she’ll be performing Eye Spy in concert later this month, on July 31st at the Vanguard.
