Radio Free Alice on Empty Words and Sold-Out Shows

Sydney-founded, Melbourne-based post-punk quartet Radio Free Alice have been on a tear recently in the Ausmusic circuit — opening for the likes of The Killers late last year, to playing SXSW in Austin, Texas. They’ve just announced their first headline show in Brooklyn, New York this September which sold out in 12 hours. Their 2024 EP Polyester is currently nominated for Best Independent Punk Album or EP at this year’s Australian Independent Record Awards.
Noah, Lochie, and Michael from Radio Free Alice joined Thursday Drive live in the studio ahead of their sold-out gig on 23 May at Oxford Art Factory as part of their ‘Empty Words’ tour. It’s one of their last hometown shows for awhile, cos they’ll be moving to London next month! If you missed out on tomorrow, don’t worry cos a second Sydney date has been announced for 20 June.
