Jakarta-born, Dharawal-based artist Putrika releases her debut album after 3 years of work.

Further exploring her alt-soul electronica style, Putrika’s debut album ‘Wanita’ represents the cycle of sunrise to sunset and is a compression of the 11 years she has spent in Australia. Building on the foundations of her 2022 debut EP ‘Silmara’, ‘Wanita’ is an exploration of born and chosen community, resiliance and womanhood, with ‘Wanita’ meaning women in Indonesian.
