The 2025 Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival is Australia’s leading celebration of science fiction and fantasy cinema, on at Event Cinemas Sydney, October 3-5.

This year promises to be one of the biggest fests ever, with features and shorts from around the world exploring not only science fiction, but also a bit of science fact.

Adding to the excitement is that fact that in 2025 Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival has partnered with the 76th International Astronautical Congress, the world’s largest annual gathering of space sector industry leaders and community figures.
