POV by re: group

P.O.V (Point of View) by theatre collective re: group has been described as a “mash-up of theatre and film” (TimeOut).
At the heart of the production is “BUB”, a child actor with a camera, trying to make a documentary about her mother’s art exhibition. However, when a family breaks down, causing her mother’s mental health to suffer, she is forbidden from using any raw footage collected for her documentary.
BUB invites two adult actors to re-enact the family dynamic for her documentary to help answer difficult questions about parenting, agency and mental health.
But, there’s a twist! The adult actors are unprepared for the conversation, mirroring the real-life experience many parents are faced with when grappling tough topics.
This production hits Parramatta Riverside Theatres from the July 2nd – 5th, and then the Bondi Festival from July 10 to 12.
