‘Oh.’ at Winter Wednesdays in Randwick
Not a fan of the cold or hump days? Well, Heart of Randwick has a cure for that with their Winter Wednesdays program. A new public arts program throughout Randwick this June on – you guessed it – Wednesdays.
As part of the program, Oh. is a new short animated film that brings the world of a children’s watercolour picture book to life. It’s a collaboration between artist Claudia Nicholson, writer Enoch Mailangi, and young artists from the Sydney Children’s Hospital School, exploring the power of friendship, feelings, and belonging.
It plays outdoors at Inglis Park, right next to the popular playground and Newmarket dining precinct, taking art out of the galleries and putting it in reach to all, bringing children’s creative voices into public art.
