Depersonalisation disorder is a lesser-known mental health condition affecting around 1% of the population. It’s a dissociative illness that can give the feeling of being detached from one’s body.
Nathan Dunne experienced these feelings for 3 and a half years, struggling through several misdiagnoses before learning the true nature of what he was experiencing.
Nathan’s book, ‘When Nothing Feels Real – A journey into the mystery illness of depersonalisation’ chronicles his journey with this illness, as he aims to find out more about the disorder.
