The question of music and its relationship to the human brain has always been a frequently discussed area. We often use music to connect with others as it communicates with us at any emotional state whether we are happy, angry or sad. It is also a universal language that has connected many people from a variety of cultures and lifestyles. The impact of music is undeniable but how does it really affect us? 2SER was joined by Professor Bill Thompson, who is a Distinguished Professor of the Department of Psychology, and Director of the Music, Sound and Performance Lab at Macquarie University.
