Married for Six Weeks with Mandy Scotney

Navigating the aftermath of saying “yes” when every instinct screamed “no”.

Sydney comedian Mandy Scotney is turning her most embarrassing life decision into an incredibly honest debut solo comedy show. Her upcoming performance, “Married for Six-Weeks”, is a true story of a tumultuous six-week marriage that left Mandy with a broken heart, solo-custody of a cat called Sam, and a collection of unpaid parking fines.

Mandy’s incredibly honest debut solo comedy show explores the rocky terrain of whirlwind romance, ignoring all the red flags (red is Mandy’s favourite colour!) and navigating the aftermath of saying “yes” when every instinct screamed “no”.

Married for Six Weeks is on as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival at the Factory Theatre, Marrickville, on Saturday, 6 September at 8.15 pm and Sunday 7 September at 7.15 pm.
