As part of Vivid Sydney 2025, Awesome Black takes over Carriageworks’ Track 8 with Echoes of the Block: A Live & Local Blak Hip Hop Collaboration, a fearless First Nations-led pirate radio station powered by Blak creativity and community.

Over four days and three nights from 6-8 June, DOBBY, Mr Rhodes, Izzy, ChillCheney, Minty, Prodikal-1, The Chaza, Yung Brother, Emerald Brunt and more will create, collaborate and experiment live.

By day, the space becomes an open studio where a hand-picked crew of Mob artists will create, collaborate, and experiment. By night, the doors swing open and the broadcast goes live – uncensored and direct from the streets to the stage. Daytime sessions are free and open to the public. Evening performances are free with registration.
