Jerome Blazé for Oxford Art Factory’s 18th Birthday

How did you celebrate your 18th? I bet it wasn’t quite the rager that the Oxford Art Factory has planned for this Saturday…
Oxford Art Factory is turning 18! This exciting event will feature a range of live performances from Aussie talents like Girl and Girl, Father’s Favourite, Liquid Zoo and of course, Jerome Blazé (who will be joined by his full band!)
Self described as a “sonic architect”, Jerome Blazé is a songwriter, producer, pianist and vocalist who earlier this year released his deluxe sophomore album titled Living Room.
A standout favourite from the album is the track ‘Time Passing’; the music video pairs each piano chord change with a new hue of coloured light. Along with the album’s title track, “Living Room,” and “Let Your Heart Fill Up,“ the music videos were also filmed in a living room setting, showcasing Blazé’s songwriting process.
Jerome spoke with Eva Greifeneder on the Monday Daily to discuss the upcoming gig and his current work, which involves an experimental project focused on recording natural and street sounds around Sydney’s landmarks.
