Immy Owusu: The Lowdown on the LO-LIFE!

Immy Owusu is a Torquay-based artist of Ghanaian-Dutch heritage who grew up in two musical worlds; the rock’n’roll scene of Geelong and the Surf Coast, and the West African culture of his Ghanaian roots. he combines these influences (plus a whole lot more) for his debut LP LO-LIFE!

Immy Owusu has created his unique sound, one that might be described as “lo-fi highlife”, if such a description was in any way capable of defining his music (which it isn’t).

Danny Chifley from Breakfast prank-called Immy Owusu to let him know that he was the feature album for 2SER. Thankfully, Immy answered.
