Master drummer and chronic collaborator Jim White has just released one of 2025’s most unlikely debuts, an album called Inner Day, an album featuring for the first time ever, Jim as lyricist and vocalist!

Alongside his debut as a vocalist, on Inner Day, Jim travels further into expressionist landscapes of private meditation; his vehicle, an evocative duet of keyboards and drums.

Jim is a singular hang, and it was the pleasure of 2SER Breakfast to once again welcome Jim to the airwaves to discuss the new album, his friends, neighbours, live shows and the thousands of other things that Jim has happening at any given moment.
