Generating sustainable electricity in the dark with the UNSW Night time Solar team

Ever wondered how you can generate electricity from solar energy when the sun isn’t up?
Professor Ned Ekins-Daukes from the UNSW Night time Solar team joined the Breakfast show to talk about the teams solar technology that generates electricity after dark.
To round off National Science Week, Danny spoke to Professor Ned from the Eureka Prize-nominated team about how their device creates a voltage from the sun’s residual heat rising into the cooler atmosphere after dark.
