FIERCE is a breakthrough new play showing at Old Fitz Roy Theatre by writer Jane E. Thompson that discusses the struggles of women in a world defined by gender roles. We spoke with director of FIERCE Janine Watson about how they brought to stage the hardships of women in sports through the protagonist Suzie Flack who is the first female footy player to be on the men’s professional team.
