This week OB drops a new release from The Bamboo’s front man Lance Ferguson that has an interesting family tree. Lance creates an amazing cover version of The Sunburst Band’s “Far Beyond” (2004), which in turn was based around a classic De La Soul tune “The Stakes Is High” (1996) which contained a sample originally sauced from Ahmad Jamal’s amazing jazz masterpiece “Swahililand” from 1974.
