Great Irish Famine research and poetry

Dr Anne Casey’s latest poetry collection, Seang (Hungering), is informed by her doctoral research on the histories of Great Irish Famine migrant girls in Australia. Anne is an internationally acclaimed poet from west Clare in Ireland and a longtime resident of Australia. In this conversation, Anne shares insights from her research and her own family history and a kinship she has found between First Nations peoples in Ireland and Australia.
