Culture X Festival Is Back For Its 15th Year

The Sydney festival showcasing music and culture from around the world is back, this year at the Bankstown Arts Centre.

What started as the Sacred Music Festival back in 2011 has now grown to become an all-encompassing celebration of global music and arts. This year’s lineup includes artists from Ghana, Senegal, Palestine and Colombia, as well as First Nations artists from around Australia. The festival is being hosted at the Bankstown Arts Centre this week from the 12th to the 14th.

Tuesday Drive spoke with the festival’s director and creator, Richard Petkovic, about the upcoming festivities and the history and importance of the event.
