2SER loves Australian music, and in collaboration with our friends at Soft Spot Recordings, we’re excited to share the sixth film in a series showcasing some of the amazing musical talent we have in this country.
Alexander Flood is at the forefront of the new wave of forward thinking Jazz and Electronic musicians coming out of Australia. A prodigiously talented drummer and producer, Flood already has three studio albums under his belt (Heartbeat, Oscillate and The Space in Between), with a fourth, Artifactual Rhythm, due out in 2025.
For Episode Six, we were privileged to capture Alexander Flood in full flight at the 2SER studios performing new material along with bandmates Erica Tucceri (Flute) , Jake Amy (Keys) and Dylan Paul (Bass).
