Actions for Water – a deeper understanding – with Sharmila Wood

Swamps, ponds, wetlands, underground waterways – these ecosystems are all vital to humanity and the rest of the biosphere alike. However, they’ve suffered gradual degradation for the last few decades due to pollution, global warming and urbanisation.

Actions for Water at the Tin Sheds Gallery is an amazing exhibition that combines the work of architects, artists and cartographers in an amazing display of visual, sounds and even smells.

Curator Sharmila Woods joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss intertwining artistic practice with ecological advocacy.

Actions for Water is on from 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday at the Tin Shed Library in Darlington until the 25th of July.
