Antarctic Mission to Measure Atmospheric Detergents
 
								An international mission this summer will see scientists build a temporary lab on the Antarctic ice sheet to measure and reveal how much hydroxyl, a natural ‘atmospheric detergent’, cleans the air of its toxic trace gases.
To find out more, Tess spoke to CSIRO atmospheric scientist Dr David Etheridge who will be leading the world-first ice mission.
