The feature album this week on 2SER is 2, the second album by Yalla Miku, a loose-but-tight collective of culture colliders located in Geneva.

This fantastic record is a 10-song collection that dances through fields of postpunk, Afrofunk, disco, dub and Krautrock, with an East African touch – and so effortlessly, you might catch yourself forgetting how bold and ambitious this sound really is.

There’s no smooth fusion here, nor any fixed folklore: 2 is an interplanetary journey where multiple voices overlap, clash or complement each other – raw, militant, and unclassifiable – for curious ears and open hearts.
