Eora/Sydney-based songstress and multi-instrumentalist Ella Haber has built a powerful reputation as an authentic and impressive artist.

Ella’s debut album, five years in the making, titled through blood, like kin is your feature album this week on 2SER.

Crafted over five years with close collaborator Yianni Adams and blurring the genres of jazz, folk, alternative soul and psychedelic R&B, ‘through blood, like kin’ pays reverence to the profound and marvellous loves that fuel and define our lives outside of romantic monogamous partnerships.

Ella joined 2SER Breakfast to cap off the greatest week of her life, until next week, when she’ll be launching the album at the Oxford Art Factory on the evening of Thursday 13 November, along with Melbourne soul/R&B heavyweight and close friend Tiana Khasi, as well as labelmate Hugh B & the Modern Pop Ensemble (Planet Trip Records).
