Professional wrestling has seen a rise in popularity in recent years, and some of the industry’s brightest stars have had their start in Sydney.

The likes of Kyle Fletcher, Steph De Lander and Grayson Waller are just some of the names that have begun their careers at Pro Wrestling Academy, a professional wrestling training school based out of Leumeah in Sydney.

Reporter Cody Giunta caught up with Jack J. Bonza, the Head Coach at Pro Wrestling Academy in Sydney, to discuss what goes into training a pro wrestler, the resurgence of Australia’s independent wrestling scene, and some surprise tips for young people that want to get into wrestling.
