A construction site barrier surrounds where the Newcastle Art Gallery stands. Don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere. The Newcastle Art Gallery is getting a glow-up! 

It’s going to be bigger, it’s going to be better. When it reopens in February 2026 it’ll be the largest public gallery outside of Sydney.
