After some money tips? Check the ‘finfluencers’ for these red flags first

If you’ve looked around for tips for your finances, you’ve probably noticed the ‘finfluencers’. They’re those people on social media, dedicated to giving out money ideas, and sometimes offering what seem like amazing investments.
But there can be big problems with what some of them say.
Dr Dimitrios Salampasis joined Vanessa Gawan-Taylor on the Thursday Daily this morning, to talk about what good financial info should look like, and the red flags to watch for.
He’s Associate Professor in Emerging Technologies and FinTech, and FinTech Capability Lead, at Swinburne University of Technology.
