Double Infinity by Big Thief

The Feature Album this week on 2SER is Double Infinity by Big Thief, the Brooklyn collective build around drummer James Krivchenia, Guitarist Buck Meek and vocalist Adrianne Lenker.

Recorded across weeks at New York’s Power Station (with the assistance of mixing engineer Dom Monks), Double Infinity took form from live-tracked improvisations and minimal overdubbing. In comparison to the epic scale of their last album, Double Infinity is pared down in size but not in depth, and steals the show with a new journey across transcendent folk-rock laced with bittersweet memories, sonic experimentation & fragmented Americana.
