Dr. Anastasia Shavrova is an evolutionary biologist who loves to delve into the wild world of animal courtship and how it shapes ecosystems, especially on her favourite study species – spiders.

She effortlessly balances her role as a Lecturer of Ecology and Evolution at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), with being a dedicated science communicator and podcaster.
