Urgent plan proposed to save South Australia’s dying Coorong

Environmental advocates have proposed a “last ditch” strategy to restore South Australia’s Ramsar-listed Coorong, fearing the state’s toxic algae spread could be “the straw that’s broken the camel’s back.”
The Coorong is known as a “national treasure,” yet has remained in crisis for decades.
Registered charity, The Coorong Environmental Trust (CET), has examined research dating as far back as 138 years to develop a four-point plan which they say might save the region.
