A Direction Home :: 26 Jul 2025 – FIXING Broken Things
FIXING broken things… I’ve had a few. Some weeks ago I had a really good go at cutting off some fingers [don’t be thinking about something sad while using power tools]. Very fortunately I am still in tact and day by day the damage is magically repairing itself. What capacity we have for healing. I’ve been attending to a few other broken bits and pieces in my life – unblocking a drain [$3.50 plunger!], unsqueaking doors [yes WD40], scraping grass out of mobile phone [so it’ll charge again]. Setting up some borders and boundaries and expecting these to be respected.
All this got me to thinking about this as a theme. Let’s see if together we can find a direction home.
