One of Sydney’s “Ghost train stations” Woollahra train station is set to be revived. The station has been partially completed and left abandoned since 1979 after the locals and other parties voted against for the station to be built.

The station’s reopening is being considered by the Minns government who said the opening of the station could allow a housing plan, which will unlock 25,000 new homes. The New South Wales government is expecting a target of 377,000 new homes built by 2029.

Razors Edge reporter Thomas Koutis spoke to Tom Forest, the CEO of Urban Taskforce Australia who shares his thoughts on this proposal.
