Going Cosmic with The Circling Sun

Aotearoa’s interstellar jazz collective The Circling Sun return with their radiant second album Orbits.

This record is a groove-driven journey, laden with cosmic synth textures, Brazilian rhythms, Afro-Cuban percussion, and the transcendent presence of the Love Affinity Choir.

Julien Dyne is a multi-talented Drummer, Producer, DJ and visual artist – a beatmaker, a mover and shaker, and the person you want to talk to to find out what’s going on with The Circling Sun. Julien joined 2SER Breakfast to talk about the new album, our new golden age of groove and how, thanks to the interstellar properties of spiritual jazz, space is the place.
