Dr Britta Biedermann is a linguist from Curtin University who has been studying bilingual brains and how learning another language affects identity. She has also conducted extensive work in collaboration with Aboriginal communities create and restore language resources to ensure languages such as Noongar, in Western Australia, are alive and thriving.
