NAIDOC Week Celebration at Rouse Hill Estate

This Sunday, 13th July, Museums of History NSW and Muru Mittigar are collaborating to bring a day of celebrations for First Nations Cultures. The free event is taking place at Rouse Hill Estate on Dharug Country.

It will honour NAIDOC week and its annual theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”, which celebrates the achievements and experiences of the past and the bright future ahead for First Nations communities.

You can experience a smoke ceremony, yarning and dance workshops, didgeridoo performances, weaving lessons, and much more throughout the day.

Monday Daily co-host, William Prott, spoke to the Visitor Services Coordinator for the NSW Museum of History, Dave Key, about this upcoming event.
