This week I’m joined by Matthew Tow as we celebrate the return of Drop City and the 30th anniversary of their record “Magic Transistor Radio”.
We talk forming the band, the liberty of signing to the supportive Red Eye Records label, recording “Magic Transistor Radio” in London with Andy Wilkinson, meeting, touring and recording with the Brian Jones Town Massacre and celebrate musical influences along the way.
Drop City will perform a special anniversary show at The Factory Theatre on Saturday the 13th of September.
