What If The Music Industry Went Green?
That is the question being asked by Green Music Australia, an organisation that aims to inspire musicians and the broader industry to make changes to improve environmental performance, from energy use to packaging and waste to transport.
Green Music Australia is running the NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET campaign to keep the climate crisis as a key issue in the lead up to the 2025 federal election, leading by example and bringing our audiences along with us, we can create deep, cultural change.
Berish Bilander is a composer, musician, and activist dedicated to climate and social justice, as well as CEO of Green Music Australia. He joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss music and musicians leading the way to a greener world.
