Slow Pulp Aren’t Slowing Down with ‘Yard’.

If you’re looking for a new indie-rock album to soundtrack those long drives to the beach or late-night drinks as we move into the warmer months, look no further than Slow Pulp’s latest album Yard.

Full of introspective, vulnerable and beautifully crafted lyrics, Emily Massey’s vocals are on full display and perfectly accompanied by the instrumentals of Teddy Mathews, Alex Julian Leeds and Henry Stoehr.

Taking listeners on a journey through genre, there is something for everyone on Slow Pulp’s newest triumph.

Emily had a chat with Dream State host, Jasmin Williams to discuss the album, meaning and inspirations.

You can listen to Yard here, or purchase on vinyl at your local indie record store.

Listen to Dream State here on 2SER, every Sunday between 8am – 10am for your fix of female and non-binary artists.
