New Music: Betty Harris, Ryley Walker and Katie Dey

New Orleans soul singer from 1964-1969, Betty Harris, releases a tight and raw tune with an exquisite arrangement in her single The Lost Queen of New Orleans Soul. Chicago singer-songwriter, Ryley Walker, finds the line between classic fingerpicking folk and the expansive realms and rhythms of astral jazz in Golden Sings that have been Sung. Gleefully twisted synth sounds moulded like clay into dizzying melodies with restless rhythms feature on Melbourne’s Katie Dey’s track, Flood Network.
