Turn On to Tiña

2SER Static host Berko straight-talks to South London’s psych-pop treasures Tiña about their just-unveiled debut album, the probing “Positive Mental Health Music”.

Frontman Josh tells us how dealing with difficult thoughts and feelings in song can be a catharsis, why keeping a sense of humour on their record was important, and why the band’s mascot of a blackbird felt appropriate.

You can hear Static each week on 2SER, Thursdays at 8pm and/or Saturdays at 8am.
